Aaron & Adrian Lindsey Ministering To The Creative Industries The Convergance

For nearly a year now, Grammy-Award winning music producer Aaron Lindsey and his wife, Adrian, have hosted a Tuesday morning prayer call with kindred creative spirits from around the country – pouring into musicians, songwriters, praise & worship leaders, producers, filmmakers, administrators and executives, and multitudes of other unsung heroes whose dedicated creativity and vision keep music, arts and entertainment alive. The call started with a half-dozen people, and has grown to more than 150 that include many prominent musicians from both the Gospel and Mainstream music worlds. The prayer call was also the beginning of the Lindseys’ 414 Ministries.

Now, with an inaugural gathering called The Convergance, Aaron and Adrian are broadening the scope of 414 Ministries by providing a two-day immersive experience that will inspire, teach, empower and refresh everyone in attendance. With workshops on music/production, business, relationships and spiritual empowerment, The Convergance is where the walls will come down, the praises will go up and exponential personal growth will take place.

“414 Ministries was birthed out of the need for a connect point for so many disconnected and displaced creatives,” says Aaron Lindsey. “The Convergence literally is the encouragement and prayer call on steroids! The hope is that creatives will leave with a deeper sense of purpose and awareness that they are not alone. We need each other to be whole so that this community of the arts is a safer and wealthier place.”

Adrian Lindsey says: “God spoke to me in a time when we really saw the need for community among the creatives. Our struggles were the same but also some of our victories were the same. It just feels safe to belong to something greater than ourselves. I’m hoping that people come to The Convergence to gain perspective and wisdom about how to become more valuable in their respective creative areas.”

The Convergance will feature intimate learning sessions with such creative powerhouses as Grammy Award winner Israel Houghton; prolific, award winning musical director and drummer Teddy Campbell; and Lindsey himself. Additionally, Adrian Lindsey, who has co-labored with Aaron throughout his career and understands the special gifting and challenges that come with being married to a creative, will provide her valuable perspective on keeping creativity fresh through focusing on God.

Additional presenters include Dr. Dave Martin and Darryl Freeman. Dr. Dave is an internationally renowned speaker/author, and is noted as being America’s #1 Christian Success Coach. Darryl Freeman is a legendary bassist with an impressive list of credits including Alex Bugnon, Yolanda Adams, Bishop TD Jakes, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and many more.

The Convergance takes place on 12th – 13th December in Downtown Houston at St. John’s United Methodist Church, where Rudy Rasmus is the pastor. The cost to register is $49 online and $59 at the door. More information can be found at: www.414.life.
