From the infectious set of strings that precede some solid drum beats and kicks, this fresh single ‘Believer’ from singer/songwriter Ian Copeland Green immediately makes a connection getting you up on your feet. Before long you’ll be dancing and singing along to this euphoric, chart topping anthem. Taken from Ian’s forthcoming debut album of the same name, ‘Believer’ released on 29th May 2012 on Thunderworld Recordings.
Even though it’s only been a recent thing to step into the limelight, Ian is no stranger to the music industry he was 15 when he left his school days behind to pursue his heart’s desire touring gigs with bands before he ended up playing bass and guitar for the likes of Reggae artist Maxi Priest – by 1990 he was on tour with him after working with Pop band Bananarama.
Following a publishing deal with Island records which lasted some years, Ian worked for artists like Carleen Anderson, Kenny Thomas and other acts and then left the business.
After long hiatus, a near death experience – a rebirth with a new found faith saw his return with a brighter perspective and focus in direction of what Ian wanted to do with his life; which has proved to be very productive ever since.
With such an array of talents, Ian Copeland Green has had the good fortune to work as a producer/arranger/engineer and music programmer with a host of artists including Madonna, Britney Spears, J-LO, Justin Timberlake, DJ Paul Oakenfold, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Brand New Heavies, Maxi Priest, Elvis Presley, and has composed scores for The Matrix, The Pink Panther, written for Bourne Conspiracy computer game, Sky News and much more.
