Isaac Carree has been hard at work within Gospel for over 2 decades ago when he was given the opportunity to sing on John P. Kee & New Life’s hit song ‘Wave It Away’ in 1990.

Though Isaac had a voice that could stand alone strong, he preferred to work as a team. In 1996, Isaac co-founded a contemporary Gospel male group called Men Of Standard. After a very successful stretch with the Stellar Award winning Trio, “We all just agreed that it was time to take a break and felt God was positioning us to do things as individuals,” stated Isaac.

‘Uncommon Me’ was the first solo album released by Carree (released in August 2011) which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart, #48 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, #5 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart, and Number #9 on the Billboard Top Internet Albums Chart. ‘Uncommon Me’ has sold over 100,000 units and has remained in the Top 25 on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart since it’s release. Carree’s single ‘In The Middle’ peaked at #1 on the Billboard Gospel Singles Chart on 24th December 2011 and remained at number #1 for 8 straight weeks.

‘Uncommon Me’ has garnered 9 nominations for the upcoming Stellar Awards further cementing Isaac Carree’s position as one of the leading voices within Gospel music.

Carree garnered mainstream television attention with performances on the Monique Show, TBN’s Praise The Lord Show, BET’s Celebration Of Gospel 2012 and Sunday’s Best. Isaac also toured with his mentor Kirk Franklin as an opening act on the Gospel Comedy Tour also featuring comedian Steve Harvey. Isaac is currently on tour as a background vocalist for the King’s Men Tour and will be an opening act on the upcoming Mary Mary Tour!
