Phatfish Release Final Album ‘PHATFISH LIVE’

Phatfish Release Final Album PHATFISH LIVE

In March 2014, Phatfish held two historic concerts in Bournemouth, bringing the band to a close after twenty extraordinary years of ministry together.

“It was such a joy to have our original guitarist Mike Blow join us, evoking all the memories and sounds of 1994 – back to the clubs in Brighton where it all started. Alan Rose also played with us both evenings. Alan was our guitarist from 1998 to 2003 – and he hadn’t lost any of the charisma and talent for which he was so known and loved. Then it was Jos and Ben’s turn, completing the full picture with all the passion and excitement that they’ve brought to the final PHATFISH lineup,” shares the band.

These evenings were recorded and ‘PHATFISH LIVE’ is out now officially released on 10th June as a hard copy and won’t be made available digitally yet and with good reason, shares the band.

“…there’s every reason to get your hands on the actual product. There’s nothing like pulling out the booklet and reading through while the music plays. But more than this, it’s the only way that you get the WHOLE night on record. Disc One has 15 songs from the night – and will be the album that is available going forward in download format. But the CD has a BONUS DISC which contains a further 10 songs – giving the most complete feel of the occasion.”

“We’re so grateful for all the support you’ve given to us over the years. We’ve always loved the opportunities to tell you about new albums, new tours, new initiatives. Well this is the last time we get to do that. But it’s certainly one that we’re very proud of and we’d love you to be part of it – and maybe to tell your friends that this is an album worth having in their collection too.”
