Tercer Cielo (Third Heaven), are a Dominican Republic Christian/Inspirational/Latin/Pop duo comprised of married couple Juan Carlos Rodríguez and Evelyn Herrera who sing faith based songs, as well as songs about love and life.

Originally formed by Juan Carlos and his friend, Marcos Yaroide, Tercer Cielo began in the year 2000 Together their Latin Pop style proved popular enough to cross over into the mainstream but after 5 years Yaroide parted way to focus on his solo career.

In 2007 Evelyn joined Tercer Cielo making it a duo once again. To date, Tercer Cielo have released 10 projects and have sold in excess of 1.6 million albums independently. Their biggest hits are ‘One To Another,’ ‘I Miss You,’ ‘My last day,’ ‘I Will Believe,’ ‘Your Love Is Not Of This World’ and ‘Insane’. Their album ordinary people, extraordinary dreams, reached number 1 on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart in September 2009.

Tercer Cielo lyrics focus on the positive and spiritual issues with messages of faith, love and hope to young people seeking to touch the world with God’s love. Tercer Cielo are also been known for their infinite and selfless support to non-profit foundations, donating their time and resources to promote change and new horizons in the world.

The duo have been recognized with multiple nominations for Latin Grammy, Billboard Awards (which they hosted in 2011), and Premios Lo Nuestro, as well as awards from Arpa Awards, BMI Latin Music Awards and Casandra Awards, among others.

Tercer Cielo toured over 200 cities, globally in North, Central, and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe, appearing before thousands of people sharing their songs and their faith in God.

The impact of Tercer Cielo has been extended to social networks, with more than 11 million followers on Facebook, over 700,000 followers on twitter and videos with more than 20 million views on YouTube.
