From one of the UK church’s strongest voices comes a unique double CD that celebrates a remarkable couple of decades. Lou Fellingham’s back catalogue is as varied as it is strong, bringing together her work with her band, Phatfish, her partnership with Stuart Townend and countless sessions leading festival-goers in worship.
‘The Best of Lou Fellingham Live’ is a story of worship. Across the thirty tracks are covers of classic church anthems – ‘In Christ Alone,’ ‘Before The Throne Of God Above’ and ‘Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven’ – as well as signature Lou Fellingham and Phatfish tracks: ‘Holy, Holy,’ ‘See The Lamb Of God’ and ‘To You King Jesus’.
Lou’s unique voice – strong, clear, honest and utterly worshipful – has always stood out, and throughout ‘The Best of Lou Fellingham Live’ worshippers are invited to lend their own voices to hers in worship.
As lead singer of popular band Phatfish for the last 17 years, Lou recorded eight albums and toured extensively throughout the UK, Canada and America. Her connection with Stoneleigh Bible week is well known, as are her appearances on the BBC’s ‘Songs of Praise’.
Lou’s debut solo album, ‘Treasure,’ was released in early 2006, while 2008 saw the release of ‘Promised Land’ – awarded CBC Worship Album Of The Year. May 2010 was the time for ‘Step Into The Light’ to make its way out to the world, and with each release has come yet more evidence of Lou’s desire to communicate the love of God through song.
Listen to ‘The Best Of Lou Fellingham Live’ and it’s clear that nothing matters more to Lou than expressing truth, feeding the church and bringing revelation of God through her singing and songwriting.
