21:03, the most exceptionally talented male group in Gospel music, have landed in the #10 spot on Billboard’s Gospel Sales chart with their new release ‘EVOLVED…From Boys To Men’.
The CD is the third for the Stellar Award winning, Grammy nominated group known for its spectacular vocals, heart-piercing ministry and dynamic stage performance. Leading up to the release of ‘EVOLVED…From Boys to Men’, 21:03 (Evin Martin, Torrence Greene and Jor’el Quinn) has received enthusiastic responses as they appeared on stages around the country, including JoyFest and select dates of the McDonald’s Gospel Tour.
This past weekend, 21:03 appeared at WGRB AM’s Peace Jam in Chicago – and the crowd could not get enough of them. “21:03’s performance was electrifying! The crowd was on their feet from beginning to end and was so moved by their energy, powerful vocals and their ministry when singing ‘Incredible;’ ‘Still Here;’ and ‘Favor,’” says Sonya Blakely, program director at the station. “They are the new generation of Gospel’s best!”
21:03 also taped the new season of BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, performing their single ‘Still Here,’ for which they received a standing ovation; and the Gospel classic ‘Down By The Riverside’- another performance that had the audience on its feet from start to finish.
A diverse musical offering, ‘EVOLVED…From Boys To Men’ features such treats as ‘Hear Your Voice,’ a catchy alternative pop sing-a-long; the hip-hop infused ‘Favor,’ where the trio boasts of their “swag in the spirit;” the techno-styled ‘Incredible,’ which was a Top-20 song on Gospel radio in 2010; and ‘Loving You (The Wedding Song)’, a guitar-strummed ballad on par with R&Bs greatest love songs.
Throughout the project, Jor’el’s deep tenor acts as the perfect balance to Evin’s high notes as Torrence’s velvet croon blends it all together seamlessly.
‘EVOLVED…From Boys To Men’ is available now in stores and on iTunes.
