Triple ‘O’ Wins ‘Best Gospel Act’ @ 2011 MOBO Awards…

Triple O

The MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards are one of the most anticipated Awards shows in the UK and Europe that celebrate music of ‘black origin’.

Yesterday saw Triple ‘O’  (‘The Lyrical Evangelist’) win the award for ‘Best Gospel Act’. Now we know that no, one artist is the ‘best’ and we’d like to show our support and acknowledgement to the 4 other nominees who have all made massive contributions to UK Gospel music over their time in the scene… Bobby Bovell, Four Kornerz, JayESS and Junior Garr.

Where many people crticise the MOBO Awards, we appreciate that out of all the major awards shows in the UK, they still recognise Gospel music and Gospel artist’s and this year a very hard-working, committed and passionate Triple ‘O’ deservingly took home the award for ‘Best Gospel Act.’

With one of the biggest songs of the last 12 months ‘Come Home’ (which has been remixed/covered by countless artists), 2 free EP’s ‘The Overnight Garden’ (a relationship EP) and ’24 The Gratitude EP’, an amazing concept album ‘Flatline’ and an accompanying UK tour, plus a genuine desire to share the Gospel and see lives changed and transformed for the glory of God… It’s safe to say that Triple ‘O’ is a worthy winner.
