Worship Central ‘Spirit Break Out’ Review

Published on September 12th, 2011

‘Spirit Break Out‘ is the debut live album from School Of worship… Worship Central.

It was awesome to hear one of our favourite hymns as the opener for the CD ‘Spirit Of The Living God’ which really set the tone for the album and created an expectancy of what was to come and what the Worship central team wanted to happen through this worship experience.

‘New Day’ is a song that is surely going to be a hit with worship leaders and team’s in churches… The eneregetic but still dynamic arrangement musical arrangement and the congregational feel of this song make it one that will stay on your lips through-out the day.

Fan’s of Ben Cantelon’s ‘Saviour Of The World’ will love the Worship Central’s interpretation of the song… They add a new sense of passion, dynamics and meaning to this song… It feels like a brand new song definitely one of our favourites on the album.

The title track ‘Spirit Break Out’ is an open, honest and simple rendition asking for God’s spirit to break out in our lives and the world. The inclusion of rap in this song makes it unique and add’s a new colour the song and the album.

‘Wake Up’ bares similarities to ‘Use Somebody’ by Kings Of Leon for it’s chord structure… The feel on the song is great and the relaxed laid back feel has made it a favourite of our’s.

‘Undivided Love’ a song that is stripped down musically but even naturally… Just the heart of man crying out for God in pure worship to Him… Definitely a song that will be repeated in times of devotion.

‘Spirit Break Out’ is one of those albums that immediately catapults you into a place of praise. On listening to the album for the first time it was like we had already heard it 10 times.

Somehow the team have managed to capture the atmosphere in the room on the night perfectly… You can feel the electricity of the Holy Spirit in the room as each song goes by and that same presence translates through the CD and allows anyone listening to be a part of that experience.
